What is your volunteer role(s)?
I volunteer in the crisis intervention team once a week.
What do you feel is that best bit of your volunteer role?
Helping to accommodate individuals into a warm, safe and secure environment, which helps to get them off the streets.
Describe a memorable event or anecdote in you time as a volunteer at The Brick that makes you feel good about being part of this organisation?
Seeing the appreciation and gratitude of the clients when you are trying to resolve and help them with any difficulties they may be suffering with.
What is your aspiration for the future within The Brick and in the wider world?
To hopefully get experience in other roles within The Brick and learn new skills. My aspiration for the wider world is to complete my post graduate studies.

The Brick Shop is a charity shop selling donated goods, often to people on low incomes. The shop gives clothes free of charge to people referred by Wigan Council. The shop is one of the main hubs within its community.
The Brick Giving aims to put an end to poverty and homelessness in Wigan and Leigh. Our #BrickbyBrick campaign is working to raise £175,000 to purchase The Brick Works and make sure no one in our community is left behind.
