Our Winter Fundraising Campaign - ‘A Soul Like Yours’ has been a huge success and we thank everyone who has donated. We are already using that money and changing people’s lives. This week we have opened a new 4 bed young persons accommodation unit specifically for 18-25 year olds at risk of homelessness in Wigan and Leigh. Young people we work with are often vulnerable and can face a number of complex risks. This new accommodation offers a bespoke solution and interventions specific to young people’s needs. Your donations have been used to refurbish and furnish the accommodation, make it Covid-19 secure, comfortable and as homely as we can. 🏠 Money is also ringfenced from fundraising for access to on-line training, training support and upskilling. 📖 We have also been supported by Homeless Link grant funding and Wigan Council in a community based partnership that’s #RebuildingLives 💰
Thank you to everyone involved in this project- to our staff who have worked tirelessly getting this ready in record time, to our partners at Wigan Council, our grant funders and to our new young residents who are thriving in their new home. But especially to our donors and supporters who believe in us and the work we do to donate their hard earned cash to make these things happen.
THANK YOU ♥️ ... See MoreSee Less
