Job Title: Part Time Fundraising and Communications Co-ordinator

Salary: £24,523 plus pension and other benefits pro rata

Hours: 18.75 hours per week to include evenings and weekends to support the needs of the charity

Contract Length: Substantive

Holidays: 22 Days plus Bank Holidays pro rata

Base: Wigan Town Centre.

Responsible to: The Finance and Commercial Director

Accountable to: Queen’s Hall Action on Poverty Trustees

Main Responsibilities:
Do you want to put your fundraising and communication skills into action and make a difference? Are you smart, motivated, and driven? We are seeking a fundraising and communications expert who loves networking and finding new ways to build an audience and engage supporters. On the one hand you will be an outgoing and effective communicator who enjoys the creative challenge of managing social media channels and developing a complete marketing strategy to promote The Brick. On the other hand, you will be a focused and results driven fundraiser able to identify, establish and manage relationships with major and potential donors including corporations, schools, partners and individuals. Your fundraising activity will be broad in nature including direct marketing, assisting in preparing and submitting applications to corporate supporters, online fundraising, direct debit supporters and fundraising events.
