Mel Walls, Admin & Infrastructure Manager for The Brick, is taking on her biggest challenge to date by joining the gruelling Yorkshire Challenge 50K run in July, to raise vital funds for the charity.
Mel commented, “Working for The Brick, I get to see first-hand the amazing changes we make to people’s lives. Over the last 12 months, there has been an unprecedented need for the charity’s services, due to the increase in the number of families and individuals facing poverty or financial uncertainty. I wanted to use my energy to focus on helping to relieve poverty, inequality and homelessness”.
The challenge will take Mel through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and will test her physical and mental endurance.
