Furniture Donations

If you have furniture electrical items, white goods, clothing and household items you no longer need

You can donate them to The Brick to help fund our work. They will be made available at very affordable prices in our community shops.

Items we accept:

Furniture: bedroom, living room (not glass coffee tables)
White goods: fridges, freezers, electric cookers
Electrical items: microwaves, stereos, televisions etc
Kitchenware: utensils, pots, pans, crockery
Full beds with fire protection label attached and mattress included (mattress must be 100% fit for reuse)
Bunk beds (if they can be divided into two single beds)
Sofas with a fire protection label attached
Wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets
Curtains, bedding and sleeping bags
Duvets & pillows – Please ensure they are new and in original bag/packaging
Dining tables and chairs (complete sets with fire labels if applicable)
Bicycles (case by case basis)

Items we cannot accept:

Anything fabric that doesn’t have a fire label
Any dismantled furniture
Bunk beds (This is due to health and safety regulations)
Corner / Display Units
Any baby items (cots, prams, bouncers etc) – (This is due to health and safety regulations)
Single armchairs from suites
Washing machines
Large dark wood items
Electric beds
Table & chairs for 6 (unless light wood/glass/modern)
Dining tables with un removable legs
White goods – unless in excellent condition
Gas cookers
Gym equipment
Conservatory suites and furniture
Broken / Damaged Furniture
Furniture that has been left outside
