Job Summary: Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting and serving customers, providing a high standard of customer service
• Helping with stock processing, including sorting, cleaning, pricing and stacking.
• To assist with the display of stock, so that the shop looks inviting.
• Cash handling and accurate operation of the till, once training has taken place.
• Keeping the shop premises clean and tidy.
• Working positively as a team alongside the other Food Community staff and volunteers.
• Supporting new members to sign up and explaining how the pantry works.
• Greeting visitors and signpost to other services if necessary.
Training and support
• Attend any relevant training and refresher sessions
• Undertake Mandatory training as relevant to your role
• Full support will be provided from the team

All volunteers will be required to complete a DBS check and complete and receive a certificate & complete an Induction before volunteering can commence,
